KeyPassXC compatibility, MacBook with macOS Big Sur.

Macbook Pro late 2013, Dual Core Intel i5, 2.4Ghz (does it matter?)

MacOS 11.7.10 (Big Sur)

This OS is as recent as I can go with this old workhorse. (BTW, amazed by its durable relevance cf. any of 8 Windows computers or Notebooks I've owned.)

So I'm trying to move from Keepass to KeepassXC.... why is this hard?

I knew that 2.7.6-arm64.dmg wouldn't be supported.

But also the most recent 2.6xxx is not supported for my machine either: [2.6.6-arm64.dmg]

"You can’t open the application “KeePassXC.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac."

I closed everything down and restarted, then turned off BitDefender...still not openable.

What the...?

It would be great if KeepassXC.org displayed a list of which version can be supported, and left older stable versions up for download.

What can I do?

Don't you need the x86_64.dmg versions (way at the bottom of the release lists)?
