CarPlay on IOS 17.4 not working properly

My wife’s iPhone is still working on 17.3, but mine after the upgrade to 17.4 is not. I can’t get sound control on steering wheel or infotainment knob control. I have already tried forgetting Bluetooth & CarPlay, and also reset the infotainment. I have a Camry 2023 with cable CarPlay. Any one knows a solution?

Apple CarPlay not working after iOS 18.0.1 update I have a 2024 Subaru Solterra with wireless CarPlay. After the update, CarPlay connects as normal, but audio will only play thru the front left (Siri) speaker. When in Bluetooth mode, audio plays as normal. Have tried to connect to a different car, same result. Friend connected his phone, running iOS 17 and everything works as normal.

I have a Tuscons 2023, I repeated this process but still the phone disconnects a couple of seconds after connecting.

I have the same issue as the OP ever since 17.4 with an iPhone 15 pro max, iOS 17.4.1 and a pioneer avh-w4400nex. Hope Apple can fix this asap.

tried all of those things with my VW and CarPlay worked for a day. We should not have to resort to these extreme measures to get it to work. I hope it is still working for you.

Apple this is absolutely ridiculous that this is not working in 17.4 and especially since we have had an update to 17.4.1 and still not working correctly 😡😡😡😡

17.1.4 has not corrected the sudden lack of audio/narration of directions by the Map app in my car via CarPlay. I am seriously missing this feature. iPhone 13.
