Booting up iMac with macOS 10.14, leads to pixelated screen.

Booting up the system leads me to this pixelated screen. Before this shows up, the apple logo is seen loading up but it doesn’t have any dead pixels during the boot up(the screen looks normal) but as soon as it finishes loading these pixels show up. Can you guys help me and let me know what the cause of this issue might be?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
