My Apple Watch is not connecting to my iPhone

My Apple Watch is failing to connect to my iPhone despite entering the correct Apple ID and password during setup. However, it keeps prompting 'incorrect Apple ID or password.' I'm certain that the credentials I provided are accurate. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the Apple ID and password originally used during setup. How can I successfully activate my Apple Watch under these circumstances?"

activation lock is not a thing on the ipad it's a theft protection on apples servers


it needs to be removed
