MACBook Pro 13 2.3 is always running hot
After the last couple of updates my MacBook Pro 12 2.3Ghz is always running hot .
Is there a simple fix ?

First, what sub-model Macbook Pro and what macOS is is it running? From About this Mac..." We cannot tell the exact sub-model (the part with a year) from "2.3Ghz processor" alone.
What is in your post title and what shows in your equipment line do not appear to be the same device.
1) Physical:

2) Software:
—add-on anti-virus apps, so-called "cleaning" software, and client-side VPN will run up temps.
—video conferencing and watch videos always increase temps becasue they work both the CPU and GPU quite hard.
Is the computer case feeling warm or do you have temp monitoring software? Typically the SMC on a Macbook Pros will begin to speed up the fans at about 65°C and the the processor will clock back to reduce stress. At some point near 100°C, the computer may do a safety shutdown.
3) Troubleshooting.
—if the fans start running as soon as you start the computer, run Apple Diagnostics). It will pick up issue like jammed fan blades, or a dead fan or temps sensor.
