I am working on Final Cut Pro version 10.7 and I am trying to share an XML file (1.11) with an editor who also uses Final Cut Pro 10.7.
However when the editor tries to import the XML he gets a message:
“DTD validation failed the data couldn’t be read read because it isn’t in the correct format”
Any idea how I can resolve this? Thanks.

I think there was a similar thread a little while back, but I don't remember if and how it was solved.
Might trying v1.10 instead help?
If you willing to share the xml, we could have a look at it. You could send it to yourself using wetransfer and post the link here. We may not see it in the web but should still receive the link in the mail notification.

I was able to open the XML without any problems. macOS Ventura13.6, FCP10.6.10

Just like LocaAlicia, I was able to open the xml; I am running 10.7.1 on Sonoma 14.4.
