Why can’t I download European apps?

while in Europe (where I spend half my year) my App Store doesn’t show any UK apps that I am told to get, and I am not able to change my location without a UK phone number.

temporarily move in another country, accessing Local App Store Hello, I will be temporarily moving to another EU country for work, and I need to download some apps that are only available in the local app store. I tried to create another account linked to the country where I’ll be staying using the same mobile number as my primary account, but I found out that this isn’t possible. I don’t plan to activate a new phone number since, with EU roaming, I don’t need one. How can I access the local app store? Could someone suggest a solution? Thanks, Milko

App missing from App Store Hi, I am trying to add the Spanish “Mi Vodafone” app onto my UK iPhone and when I click on the AppStore button to get the app from the Vodafone web page, the screen says it’s not available in my country. If I change my country to Spain will this cause problems with my UK subscriptions? How do I get around this. I am physically in Spain with location services turned on. Help please!

You only have access to the App Store for the region your Apple ID is connected to. You aren't required, as far as I know, to have a phone number for the region but you do need a billing address and payment instrument billed to that address in the region you want the Apple ID in.

I'm not clear about a couple of things in your post. What region is your Apple ID connected to? Where are you physically located when you're trying to access the UK apps?
