My iPhone battery drain is crazy and the speaker volume lowers itself. went for run today, iPhone was at 83% battery , 20 min in and the phone turned off, restarted and was at 10%. Charged phone went got home and saw it was at 70%. Also volume keeps lowering and raising on its own when listening to music or audiobooks. Not and issue with AirPods . Hopefully a new iOS fix soon.
Just tested again. 82% at 3:06 to 10% at 3:18.

A similar problem appeared after updating to 17.4 (iPhone XS).
1) The sound level began to decrease on its own and continues to change on its own even after manual adjustment.
2) After charging for the whole night, in the morning the battery should be 100%, but the indicator shows approximately the level at which it was set last evening - that is, 35% (for example), or another figure, and it does not change during use of the phone. Only after rebooting the phone does a more realistic expected charging indication appear.
That is the issue I am having, I called apple and they told me to restore my phone and try that which didn't work, said option would be to replace battery which would be $90. At this point i might just get a new phone since they won't admit that the update was the problem and I am stuck with a phone I can't use. Thanks apple.
I also had issues with volume level during phone calls before the battery began draining after ios 17.4 update.
