Unable to to send verification SMS from my new iphone 13

I’ve been trying to send a verification sms from my primary sim card which is airtel to the number in which apps like google pay or phonepe, prompt me to send, to activate my bank account upi ID. The messages are not being sent to the carriers. But SMS are being sent to my friends indicating that SMS service is working. When I use these apps to send the messages it’s not working.

Please help.

Ensure you have a strong cellular signal.

Check Number Blocking: Go to Settings > Phone. Make sure "Block Unknown Senders" is disabled. This setting might be preventing verification texts from coming through.
Contact Airtel Customer Support: If the above steps don't work, there might be an issue with your Airtel account or SIM card. Contacting Airtel customer support can help diagnose the problem and find a solution.
