Pencil doesn’t work with Sidecar AFTER UPDATE (ipad pro Gen2 ipadOS16.7.7) I've tried everything following: Update ipad pro (16.7.7) and macbook air (Sonoma 14.4.1) Reset ipad network setting, reconnect to same WiFi, bluetooth enabled, USB connected Reset macbook bluetooth setting. Restart ipad and macbook. Makesure all battery and power fully charged The symptom is, i can use pencil on ipad pro as usual, but when sidecar my ipad to work as screen to macbook, the pencil won't be able to work on the macbook application. I can screen mirror my ipad to macbook and use my pencil as a cursor on macbook, but that's not the point. I want my pencil to work on the application run on macbook while using ipad as my sidecar screen. which had been always working as usual before the recent Sonoma update. LAST MONTH I still able to use my ipad pro as a drawing tablet as usual. Nothing special happened, no rain, no thunder, nothing dropped everything good. Suddenly after update... everything not working as usual. Here's the thing, my model is iPad Pro 2nd Gen 9.7" where the iPadOS 16.7.7 is the latest update. It cannot be updated to iPadOS17! As it is not in the compatible list. This is why I opened another new topic here since the previous topic had pin a solution that unable to solve my problem.

How to set up Apple Pencil, iPad and MacBook Air with Sidecar Hi. I have an iPad Pro (6th gen.) that I would like to use as a graphics tablet while it's connected to my Mac. (Wireless or cable - doesn’t matter). I draw in Pixelmator Pro on the Mac, but I need to use my Apple Pencil (2 gen.) when I work in details. That's where I want to use the iPad. I've done before, but now I just can't get the setup to work again, and I've forgotten how I did it! I use Sidecar to connect, and that part works, but there's no touch function, and the Pencil doesn't work either - ONLY the screen mirroring works. It's a MacBook Air (M1) (OS 14.4), and the iPad is running iOS 17.4. I hope someone understands my problem :-) Does anyone have a fix? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The stylus works on an iPad. But when I do screen mirroring, I can't use the stylus in Mac applications. Although this possibility is declared

I have the same problem. My Apple pencil won't work when I mirror my screen (Apple Continuity app). I spent 2 houres to fix this problem, but it won't work.
