Go to settings ( the top app should be airplane)

a little past “General” select “Siri & Search”

Scroll towards bottom to an alphabetical list of Apps.

A short way down you will find “Authenticator”

Click and you will see the above picture where you can see I have selected everything. Yours should be the same.

It is not a matter of being thick if you learn from someone who is better informed and then you can catch up!

The code “webtop error 2600200 I also have this problem and have contacted my provider which is Tesco and also BT to sort.

spoken to tech guys twice on both platforms and no one has sorted the problem, mainly because no one knows what the code means.

took it to a so called iPhone expert and he connected me to a gmail account which worked but this just today me it was BT who was at fault.

whether it has to do with the IOS system upgrade remains to be confirmed but I suspect it is a good possibility.

Graham,

Many thanks. I must be thick! I can't find what you have suggested (?). I've checked on my iPhone 12 and nothing. I even typed "authenticator" into 'Search' Still not seeing what you suggest.

What am I doing wrong !?

Graham,

Manu thanks for all you assistance on this problem. My friend has upgraded to IOS17.4 but this didn’t correct the problem.

i notice that the App Store has an app “Authenticator 7. Does this need to be installed ??

if you’ve not installed it on your phone I assume not.

Again, many thanks for all your feedback.

Just final update - friend has just sent email saying that he can now send photo's etc from iPhone to email address. Suspects ISP sorted out issues with the amalgamation of platforms with EE. He is however not expecting a response from them.

Many thanks for all your assistance.

Friend updated to IOS 17.4 but it made no difference. Still gets error. His ISP (BT) did admit that they had amalgamated/integrated theirs and EE's systems (?) in the past couple of weeks
