You can’t see anyone through their phone. Ignore anything this person says.

When your iPhone camera is active a little green dot appears on the top right of your screen. If the microphone is listening a little orange dot appears in the same spot. If you don’t see the green dot that means your cameras is OFF and no one can see you.
