Apple Store reset my iPhone back to factory settings last week.
I am going on holiday tomorrow for ten days.
Will my iPhone continue to learn my usual location and charging patterns when I get back home, or will I need to reset the device and start over in order for battery optimised charging to work as it’s not currently had enough time to learn?

Ten days of vacation should be ok. The device will optimize over long periods of time anyway, e.g., ten days of different locations and different times of charging will be overwritten when you get to your usual routine for longer than 10 days.
