How to add distance to health app manually

I’ve been using a treadmill and want to add the treadmill steps to Ihealth manually….how do I do that?

iPhone SE, iOS 10

Do you want to add distance, as you say in your subject line, or step count, as your post seems to imply? You can do either. For example, go to Health and navigate to the Steps pane. Tap "Add Data" in the upper right corner. Enter the date, time, and number of steps. Tap "Add". To add distance, repeat the procedure in "Walking + Running Distance.


I don't believe that adding steps adds anything to distance, but it should become obvious if it does. In that case, just delete the distance data.
