MBPro connected to wifi but no internet

We recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and successfully transferred data from an older MacBook Air with an Intel processor. However, even though the new MacBook Pro is connected to our WiFi network, it is showing no internet connection. We have tried accessing the

internet through browsers, but it does not work. Additionally, we are unable to access the Apple ID details in the settings. During the setup of the new notebook, we skipped the Apple ID login. Could this be causing the issue? Can you please help us enable the internet connection? Thank you.

launch a Browser and enter this all-numeric IP address:

1.1.1.1

if you get the CloudFlare** splash page, your internet connection is working, but your Domain Name Server (DNS- network address lookup) may not be working.

**CloudFlare is not part of the solution, they just have the easiest to remember all numeric IP address that answers with a web page. Also useful if you can't log in on a Public Wi-Fi.
