How to remove an Apple ID from an iPad that belonged to a deceased family member

I didn't connect the ipad to the wifi for almost a year and it went back to "hello" in every language after that it required the apple Id which no one knew, I ask for every family member but they knew nothing , my concern is how do I log-in just to log out my Grandma's apple id,
