how to clean out the charging port...

IPhone 12 won't charge. My husband puts it in his pocket all the time and I think there is lint in there...

Use a strong light to look into the charging port area. Use something non-conductive, such as a wooden toothpick to clean the port area. Also, make sure the power adapter and cable you are using work with another device and then test with the phone. If it still doesn't work, then use the Support link above to contact Apple Support for service.
