iPhone 15 pro max stopped charging by usb port. I google it and it’s a common problem. Clearly Apple fault. Obviously it’s out of warranty but do Apple have recall or offer free usb port changes? The port it self not dirty as I cleaned it.

It’s a shame as it’s happening dozens of people as it’s manufactured issues. It’s not a big issue for me as I’m using wireless chargers but it will effect when I want to sell it eventually. Also paid lot of money for it on lunch so I would expect better from Apple.
Apple does better and it’s in the form of Apple Care+. While you don’t currently qualify for it, it’s something to keep in mind, especially for items that are mobile and we potentially put in harm’s way everyday. Good luck with your repair and I hope goes well. Store Managers can be an understanding lot when approached properly.
