Macbook Pro Mid 2012 Battery Replacement

Hello community friends here,

I have a Macbook Pro Mid 2012, I recently upgraded the RAM to 16 GB, but I feel the battery drains very quickly, for example I use it for 10 minutes, the battery which was originally full will decrease quickly from 100 to 90 or below, is this normal because this is an old Macbook, or do I need to replace the battery? is that needed for this very very old school macbook?

How can I optimize MacBook Pro's Battery life? The battery (original) in my MacBook Pro 15" mid 2010 is 13.2 years old and at 83% of its original mAh (5765 of original 6900 mAh). The computer preforms well, no obvious problems with it or the battery. In the 20 minutes it took me to compose and post this question the battery charge dropped from 100% to 93%.
