Why does my iPhone make water drop sound randomly?

My iPhone makes a seemingly random water drop sound, while I’m not doing anything with it, the screen is off and it doesn’t offer any notifications on the lock or Home Screen. I’ve looked at notifications and sound settings but can’t figure out why it’s been doing that. My speakers and microphone are clean and function normally for everything else.

Hello,

I have also had this occur to me and looked up online why this happens and have seen your post on here. This has happened to me like five times now with no reason and nothing pops up as a notification from an app— it will just happen randomly when my phone is off, when going on an app where my volume is down, etc.

I’m not sure why this happens, but just wanted to reply to this since I’ve been experiencing the same issues!
