i cant delete the “app” from my notifications center!! all i can do is turn off the notifications. i cant find Safari preferences either.
please help thank you!!!
this is on my moms Macbook Air M2
Go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications and either delete them or change the sites to not allow notifications.
This is after you open the Safari app and you click Safari in the menu bar.
That is with Pop-Up Windows selected, you need to select the one above it called "Notifications" in your Safari screenshot.
There is one item on the top of that screen in the Notifications settings of Safari. It shows the icon with no description and the button to "Allow" or "Don't Allow". Select it and tap remove on bottom or change it to Don't Allow".

Have you actually opened the settings or preferences pane within Safari? If so, what are you seeing? Could you post a screenshot?

i was able to find safaris preferences blocked pop ups from McAfee :)
but i cant get rid of the app from my system settings and i need help with that still

Then, tap on the green highlighted area, and then tap on the Remove button, then un-check the checkbox.
I’d also wonder what else is installed here.
