Pop up on my mac saying I am already signed in

The pop up says " (my email address) is already signed in "

"You can Keep using the already logged in iCloud account or use another one"

It provides two options: "Use another account "or "Use (my email address) "

I have chosen the latter and the pop up returns. I x'd out and it returns.

Today I changed my apple password to download an app - thank you !

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.3

Wondering if the "already signed in" pop-up is related to one or more of the apps that you log in to with your Apple ID:

When you change an Apple ID password whilst also signed into an app(s) (eg: iCloud, Messages, or FaceTime) with the old password, you may need to sign out of the app(s) using the old password, and sign back in with the new password.
