I changed my Apple ID. Now I am getting frequent popups asking me to sign in using my old ID. How to I change this

These popups are happening on both of my Dell computers. I have signed out and then signed in using new ID but that doesn't change anything. Top up includes two screens. First is the prompt to sign in using my old ID and the second on is a data sheet.

If you didn't do it using a method as outlined in the following support article then you may have instead set up a new account. In that case, modify it correctly this time (but you will need a different email address since Apple won't let you reuse them).

Refer to the support article Change your Apple ID - Apple Support :

- If you don’t have an iPhone or iPad the support article says to, “go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in. Then follow the onscreen instructions to change the email address associated with your Apple ID.”

- For general information, and other issues such as changes or addresses not being accepted.

- Note a recent change to the article where you can now change the email address without having to have access to your old email account.
