Can’t import files from SSD to any app.

I'm experiencing a frustrating and weird issue where I cannot import any sort of files into any editing application (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve Studio, etc.).

The problem only occurs when importing from external sources, such as an SSD. There is no issue when I import from my downloads, desktop, or documents.

The strangest part is that I can’t import only newly created files. For example, if I add music to my SSD and try to import it into Adobe Premiere, I receive an error message saying that the file can't be accessed. However, if I unmount the SSD and then mount it again, Adobe Premiere can import that music file without any problem.

I'm using a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max chip, macOS Sonoma version 14.4. All editing apps are up to date. All apps have Full Disk Access in the Privacy & Security settings. All apps have read and write permissions. All folders on the SSD have read and write permissions.

Adobe support suggested that this might be an SSD problem, but I don't have this issue on my older MacBook Pro and iMac with the same SSD.
