I need a new SIM in my iPhone 13 as it says NO SERVICE. How do I save anything on my SIM and transfer it to a new SIM?

iPhone 13 - I have a No Service notice so no WiFi connection. I have tried the SIM card from my wife's iPhone 11. It connects perfectly in my phone. I tried my SIM card in my wife's phone - NO SERVICE. So the SIM card is at fault. I have a couple of new, unused SIMs from previous iPhones (where I have just swapped the SIM from an old phone into a new phone). So, what info is on my existing SIM card and what do I need to do before replacing the SIM with a new SIM card? Thank you.

The iPhone does not store any information on the SIM card. Obviously, your current card is damaged. So you will need to get a new one via your carrier.

Thank you. Having decided that the SIM was the cause of the problem, I have inserted two new SIMs from previous iPhones that I have not used. I still get the NO SERVCE notice. So is this a SIM problem? I am really baffled by this. Do I need to go back to the service supplier (Tesco O2) and get them to provide a new SIM? The new SIMs I tried did not work in my wife's Phone 11 either. So what am I missing, or not understanding?

Inserting a new SIM does not necessarily magically make it work. Has the SIM been activated by the carrier? I am assuming that you are wanting to use your current phone number in the new SIM. You would need to contact your carrier in order to transfer your number to the new SIM. Your number is probably still tied to your old (damaged) SIM.
