hello there, yesterday I sold my iPhone XR and forgot to reset the phone. The person who bought it said that he couldn’t reset it because Find my device was turned on. To erase or to change Face ID on that phone, it requires my Face ID. Is there a way to reset this with Lock Screen’s or Apple ID’s password?

or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click
Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.

I have removed from Find My, it’s showing that device will be removed after 30 days. What will happen if I just remove from my iCloud device list in settings? Will it be able to use from another person? What’s the difference between removing and erasing device?
