Charging Magic Mouse from Mac or charger?
Is it better to charge my Magic Mouse from the iMac or from a USB charger?

It will charge faster with a 30W Apple USB-C charger using a USB-C to lightning cable. This is what I use and coordinate checking the battery remaining via Bluetooth and scheduling a recharge overnight while I sleep.
Unless you plan to leave your iMac on all night for charging via USB, it may be more practical to perform the first paragraph with a dedicated charging adapter.
