How do I delete videofiles on my iPad from my Mac?
I have an IPad on which I watch TV episodes and movies. I used to connect this iPad to iTunes to transfer and manage the video files. I recently updated my mac to run OSX Catalina and iTunes disappeared. It has been replaced by the apps TV and Music.
The TV app lacks a way to view the video library in column view which I find frustrating.
The music app still has column view. Why not the TV app?
And when I want to manage the video files on the iPad from the TV app (on the mac) it is just a random list of files(episodes) and if right click them, nothing comes up. No menu or option to for instance delete them.
This was very easy and intuitive in iTunes. Why has this been removed?
Now I have to select the file and press the backspace button on the keyboard. Much more work than before.
Is there a better way? I know I can delete files in the app on the iPad, but I want to use my mac to manage these files as my eyes are not what they used to be.
Has Apple deliberately chosen to make this all more difficult and tedious? Do I need to downgrade my OSX again or is there a way to do this that I am not realizing?
