Anyway to clone through recovery?

Hi. Right now my laptop can't even get past the apple logo, even through resetting smc, I haven't tried resetting nvram but I'm very doubtful it can go through. But I can see that I can still go into recovery mode. I've tried repair in disk utility and the drives appear to be ok.

I've been advised to replace the logic board. I'm just wondering is there anyway I can still make a copy of the harddrive considering I can still use the laptop fine in recovery mode?
