I would like to watch Apple TV on my work ipad, that has a different Apple ID. Before iOS 17.3, I could do this. Please help. THX

I have a work iPad with a "work" Apple ID. In the past (I travel ALOT), I could watch my Apple TV on this iPad, even though my Apple TV subscription is part of my "personal" (different, not part of my "work" iPad) Apple ID. I'm guessing the new iOS 17.3 changed this capability?

Is there any way to watch Apple TV (subscription is attached to my "personal" Apple ID), using my "work" iPad (which has my different "work" Apple ID...ie, no duplicate Apple TV subscription? Good Lord, they are BOTH my devices!

THX!

You NAILED it!

Nothing worked until I deleted the appletv app, and logged in via web browser.

you must either clear the history from the browser (Safari kept prompting to re-open the deleted Apple TV app), or I just used Microsoft edge- no history of Apple TV there; using my “personal” Apple ID and password, went right in👍🏽.

good call, right answer.
