Try going to Mail > Settings > Viewing > if "Use Smart Addresses" is on ... turn it off to always display names and addresses.

These are fellow user supported public communities and neither Apple, nor Apple product teams participate here. Thus, you post is not being read by anyone that can change Apple Mail's design.

You can send a feature request to the Apple Mail Product team and they will read it, but without any certainty that they will either respond, or implement your request.

One thing you can do to see if it originated at Amazon is to do the following:

1. Select the email message with a single-click
2. In the Mail View menu : Choose Message > Raw Source
   1. This will open a new window displaying the mail header gibberish.
   2. Press cmd+F to open a search window in that gibberish
      1. Enter Return-Path
      2. Check the Return-PaTH entry enclosed in <...> brackets, do you see any reference to Amazon?
3. Click the red traffic icon on that open Mail header window to close it

So I‘m not sure if it works the same on Mac, on my IPad if I press on the Senders Name/Details, it usually shows me the E-mail adress. I have gotten some mails where I wasnt sure if its the original one or just a scam, I suggest you try something like this

The OP profile showed a Mac, mentioned Mac Mail and was not asking about iOS, or iPad OS where the features offered with Mail may be implemented differently than on a Mac.
