My notes on my contact disappeared

I don’t know why I went to check a something on my notes and all the notes were gone

Some notes under Contact have disappeared I keep important notes under my Contacts on my iPhone. However, two notes, the ones I especially didn't want to lose, disappeared from those Contacts sometime in the past year. All other contacts still have their notes. I suspect I clicked on something in my phone, thinking that it would help me to NOT lose those two notes, when in fact it caused them to disappear. I have not used iCloud to back up my phone, so they aren't there. Any ideas or suggestions about where they might have gone to, and how I can find them again? I would appreciate any and all the help I can get! :)

what happened to the notes under contacts? I recently did the 17.4.1 update and appears that any "notes" that I had attached with certain contacts have suddenly disappeared? Specifically, one of the contacts where notes disappeared from shows "Linked contacts" one under Gmail and one under iCloud. Can anyone help me recover the "contact's notes" I had prior?

information in notes field in contacts disappeared On my iphone in the contact all my details stored in the notes field disappeared. Not the notes app of course but inside the contact Notes field. Had information related to that contact stored but it's all gone. Seems to have happened more than once as after it went blank I added some back and that's gone also. How to stop this from happening? And maybe recover the data.
