Using Bang and Olufsen Beoplay EX Earbuds with iPhone 14 - voice controls

I'm having a difficult time searching for what might a correct answer for my question. The reply might be simple; however, I cannot even find the simple answer. I live at an elevation of 7200 ft - we have lots of snow and cold weather (it was -20 degrees for the week a few weeks ago). I use my earbuds for music only with an occasional call or two - no movies, games, need for higher quality ANC, or the need to move between Apple products while using my earbuds. Subsequently, I enjoyed my Gen 1 AirPod Pro's because I could use voice control - i.e "Hey Siri" to complete a number of predetermined tasks - increase volume, skip a track, or move to another playlist - without having to touch the Apple Pro's physical - purely by voice in very cold weather without having to remove my huge gloves (our winter lasts about 5 months). In other words, one of the most important features for me for any earbud (in conjunction with the best sound in my opinion) is the ability to use the "Hey Siri" voice command without having to physically touch the earbuds I own.

I've been reviewing a few different earbuds recently. I sent the same question or need above to Master Dynamics and Bang and Olufsen (Beoplay EX). Master and Dynamic replied that I should be able to alter my settings on my iPhone 14 to "respond to the Master & Dynamics mic" to ensure I an use their earbuds purely by voice without having to physically touch the M&D ear buds. Is that correct? My guess is B&O might respond similarly.

I've read a number of post in the last 3-4 months that seem to indicate that only Apple and Beats earbuds have the capacity to respond purely by voice without physical touching the earbud due to the Apple chip. Is that correct? Some related posts have indicated the issue was how close you Apple device was to your mouth when you made the verbal command. If that is accurate, I always have either my iPhone or Apple Watch Ultra 2 in my pocket to on my wrist - not sure if either of those physical positions on my body constitute be "close to my mount / command."

So, can I use the B&O EX earbuds purely by voice without having to physically touch the earbuds with a simple adjustment in the settings on my iPhone 14?
