Extensive problems after ios 17.4 update. Iphone 12 mini

Unable to activate imessage and facetime after 17.4 update. The proposed fixes from Apple haven't worked. Notifications are also not working after the update. Any ideas?

Actually 17.4.1 is what broke Facetime for both me and my wife!

I have an Iphone 11, did the 17.4 update and can no longer get imessages/texts. I tried multiple fixes suggested on forums, youtube, etc. without success. I finally got in apple support chat, went through all of the suggestions there and was advanced to a senior specialist who called me to help resolve the issue. She was excellent and talked me through multiple options to try to resolve the issue beyond the chat person. Eventually I had to do a whole phone reset, bit even this dis not fix the Imessage problem. Eventually she had to fill out a 3 page report with multiple screen shots from settings on my phone. She explained that the more of these reports Apple gets, the more information they have about the problem, supposedly to come up with an update that fixes it. I spent hours on this today. Luckily, I did jot have to work. This is ridiculous. However, the more people that go through the entire process, the closer we get to a solution... maybe.

I have had nothing but problems since the 17.4 update, full crash, had to reset through DFU to make my screen work again. If I turned it off I would have to DFU again. It just updated to 14.1, I was hoping that it would fix bugs, but no, now I can't get the screen to work at all. Taking it in tomorrow to get the screen checked, but my moneys on a software issue. I didn't ever have ba problem with it for 2 years until this update.
