Using Ipad as second monitor

I have my ipad and macbook on the same wifi, close in range, and they detect each other. everytime i try to connect my ipad i have it on but my laptop will say that my ipad cant connect because it timed out.

Using a Thunderbolt 27” monitor with an iPad Pro 13” 3rd gen Hello, I’m attempting to use my ipad with my monitor via the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, and each time I plug the adapter/monitor in, the ipad shows this each time and does NOT turn on/enable the Thunderbolt Display. Is this compatible? If not, how else can I connect my ipad to my Thunderbolt 27” display? Thanks!

Can I use my iPad as the only monitor to my Mac mini? is it possible? as in no other monitor plugged in, just the iPad as the primary and only monitor thanks [Re-Titled by Moderator]
