MS Classic Intellimouse doesn't work with Mac?
Pugged in an old. but unused, wired Microsoft classic Intellimouse but nothing's happening. My old mouse works fine. Do I need a driver or something for the Mac to recognize it?

Shouldn't need a driver for it to work at a basic level. Drivers might be needed to enable any special features beyond clicking and moving the cursor.
I've used non-Apple mice for years on Macs but not an MS version. Has the mouse worked on other devices?
Is this a port issue? USB-C/Thunderbolt-to-USB-A adapters are available: USB-C to Lightning Adapter
What Mac? What operating system i is running?
2019 Macbook Pro. Running Big Sur. It appears that this mouse doesn't work with Macs, so unless there's a workaround I'm SOL.
Two other mice work with the port just fine. MS support said this mouse doesn't work with Macs. Annoying.
