Is it necessary to but lens protection?

Hello. Not so long ago I became a user of iPhone 15 pro max. I would like to ask experienced users: is it easy to scratch the camera at 15 pro max? Do I need to buy protection for lenses?

That's a personal decision, but my opinion is no. Lens protectors are not necessary. The lens covers on the cameras on your iPhone are Sapphire Glass, which is very difficult to scratch. It doesn't mean they can't be cracked however. I'd suggest a good protective case, which has a raised lip protecting the cameras if you place the phone camera sound down, is more important. And lens protectors add another layer of glass over the camera, which can with lower quality protectors cause photos to be negatively impacted.
