My genuine Apple wired earbuds mic is not working

Hello everyone,

I have this weird issue when i plug my headphones the headphones mic doesn't pick up my voice but the phone mic does where it should be the headphones this causes the other person whom im calling unable to hear me clearly unless I move close to my iphone and I have tried other headphones and had the same issue please help
