Closing rings animation for Apple Watch Ultra

Wondering do the Apple Watch

Ultras still display the animation when closing rings? I’ve only just noticed mine doesn’t. I’ve unpaired and turned off full notifications.

Why doesn’t my Apple Watch show notifications? When I get a notification my Apple Watch vibrates, but it doesn’t show my notification if I rotate my wrist. I can swipe down and see the notification that just came through, but I want to see it when I rotate my wrist. I still get the “time to stand”notifications or other fitness related ones, but not normal notifications that I would get on my iPhone. I am not in theater mode, I am not in do not disturb, and my Apple Watch is up to date as of 05/19/2025. Please let me know if more information is needed or what I can do to troubleshoot.
