Impossible opening raw files Fujifilm 50 S II in preview

When I am trying to open RAW files from my Fujifilm 50 S II in preview it won't do. I can only see a symbol coming up that says: That this raw file can't be open for the moment! It is a big problem when I am also working with Capture One, and can't see the images in my archive lying on my computer ...

Raw support for each camera has to be added on a model by model basis. So as this is not on the list here:

Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma and visionOS – Apple Support (UK)

your files will not open on any Apple device. I would caution you that Apple does not seem to prioritise adding raw support these days.

Alternatives: use a third party app tp process the raws. In the case of CaptureOne, as you're paying for that, get in touch with them as they will add raw support much faster.
