Outlook sound notifications despite being turned off

Outlook keeps making a sound when I receive a new email despite notifications being off both in Outlook and in the system settings. I did not have that last week and my system was updated to Sonoma 14.4 this weekend.

Mac Mail app plays additional, unwanted "Mezzo" alert sound No matter how I set "New Messages Sound" in Mail Settings, I also hear the "Mezzo" sound whenever new mail arrives. For every message there are two sounds—what I select AND Mezzo. (If I select Mezzo as my new mail sound do I not get two alerts, just the Mezzo once.) But I dislike Mezzo and want only the sound I prefer. I have booted into Safe Mode and nothing was different. How can I maintain my notifications but stop Mezzo? Thank you. Inbox received email sound My notification/sound is only sounding when I open my junk email folder and found an answer that is because it retrieves email when I open the folder(of course I don’t want to hear junk email sounds/notifications). I have it set for my inbox and nothing sounds when an email is received or when I open that folder. Any suggestions to make my inbox emails sound when they come in? I have sounds and haptics new mail sound turned on and a sound selected.

No "New Message Sound" in Mail in Ventura Just received an email from Apple informing me someone upvoted one of my posts concerning NO new Mail message sound from 3 years ago! Big Sur, no less. So I checked System Settings Ventura 13.7 and still no "Play Sound" in Notifications. My Mail App always had New Message sound selected. In 3 years, still no New Message sound? Will send feedback today but really? Any thoughts? Thanks. (cannot upgrade to latest OS as my 2017 iMac is too old. OK Apple, I am ready when you are to release a new 27" iMac)
