The old phone however does. I removed this and tried again using their correct Apple email address. Same thing occurs, always the older phone with their name shows up in FindMy not the newer phone. Location services is on in their newer phone. FindMy works for everything else 5 airtags 2 iphones 1 ipad Air. Help please!
Sounds like maybe the new phone took over the old phone's name and you are actually seeing the new phone on Find My under the old phone's name.
Check the new Phone's name in Settings ➜ General ➜ About ➜ Name. And change it to something that identifies it as the new iPhone.
