data does NOT transfer between apps

In my iPhone 13 using ios17:

1.) ”open in…” links don’t work, other than loading an app

2.) buttons that update apps don’t work, other than loading the app

3.) links in text messages/email open my browser, but a website is never visited

Annoying and sometimes completely prevents me from accomplishing tasks. Currently I have to use copy/paste to get around this big problem.

Have hard reset my phone to no avail.
