Airpods 3rd gen replacement

My airpods 3rd gen is still under warranty and I have them replaced because it doesn’t connect for some reason. And the left one doesn’t work anymore. Now, I got my replacement and the serial numbers of each piece are different. And I only have 90days warranty on them at the mobile care shop where I have it replaced. Are these pieces second hand? I checked the serial number of both ear piece and it says invalid. Only the case is detectable for serial number check.

So I wanna know if they are secondhand.

Only the case’s serial number is used by Apple.

Each AirPod will have a serial number, they won’t match and won’t show up in the warranty checker.

2. With AirPods (2nd and 3rd generation) and AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generation), each AirPod also has its own serial number, printed on the AirPod itself. If you need to send in your AirPods or charging case for service, refer to the primary serial number, printed on the case lid. You don't need the serial numbers on the AirPods.
