How to remove “AvastSecureBrowser” DNS

I would like to remove the Avast DNS. I do not have any avast products or services and haven’t for years

I don’t have an Avast configuration available to check.


Check here: Settings > Wi-Fi > select network ℹ️ > Configure Proxy, and check here: Settings > Wi-Fi > select network ℹ️ > Configure DNS.


It’s also possible this setting is acquired from the local network, such as from the Wi-Fi router configuration. That would usually involve Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol (WPAD) and a Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) file.


There might also be a configuration (MDM) profile around. Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
