I am trying to enter a new credit card on Apple Pay. All data regarding the card has been successfully entered. The last step is "verification". I have not received a verification code from Apple

The “verification” steps are entirely between you and the card issuer.
The issuer contacts you directly via the contact info they have on-file for your specific account.
Recommend that you contact your issuer to make sure that ALL means of contact (not just the “primary means”) they have on-file are valid.
