It is possible to unlock iPhone with IMEI information?

Hello, I remember that my phone is locked and I don't have an Apple ID. It is possible to give imei information and activate the serial number.

You can request an unlock or a refund from the seller, but they’ve likely disappeared.

Activation Lock is intended as a theft deterrent. It is intentionally not easy to bypass.

Here? You got scammed. Probably a lost or stolen device. You bought a brick.

Unlocking solely by IMEI or by serial number would greatly benefit crooks, and easier unlocks would likely also serve to encourage additional thefts.

If this is a device you purchased new from Apple or an authorized reseller and that is now Activation Locked, or if this is some other lock involved:

There are two anti-theft mechanisms that pertain to iPhones.

Activation Lock – e.g, if you see a message saying that the phone is "Locked to Owner" and asking for the Apple ID and Apple ID password of the owner. As others have said, it is intentionally not easy to bypass.

Blacklisting – some carriers maintain blacklists of lost/stolen phones. A phone that is on the blacklist will never get cellular phone, text message, or data service (with the possible exception of Emergency 911 calls) from any carrier who honors the blacklist. Unless the rightful owner can provide proof, satisfactory to the carriers, of having gotten their phone back, making blacklisting, too, intentionally not easy to bypass.

A stolen phone may well be subject to both.

Pretty sure they are saying they have an activation locked iPhone (likely bought a used - probably stolen) and they themselves don't have an Apple ID or know the Apple ID used on the phone. And they live in a country which has no access to Apple Support (note the referral to banned) in their 2n response.

They can certainly try what you provided, but I'd be willing to bet they didn't just forget their Passcode. And instead bought a brick they'll never be able to use.

I suspect you're correct. But, I figured it wouldn't hurt to offer the information in the event it was that possibility.

Can't hurt, of course.
