What charger supports my iPod 2 generation?
I have a model A1019 generation 2 Apple iPod with an odd configuration for charging can someone help and let me know what I need to be able to charge this iPod?

You will need a Firewire to USB charging cable not sure hose exist) or a Firewire cable and one of Apple's extremely rare Firewire charging blocks.

That would be as mentioned a Firewire cable.
Apple used to make those, but its been a fairly long time since then. You'll probably need to find a 3rd party one on eBay or the like.
Not sure what cable you have, as you have not provided a picture of it.
Thanks! Take a look at the port and ends of the cord we have. The box in your link requires the same end as what actually goes into the iPod port. Do they make a cord that has the same end on both ends of the cord? Or using the cord we have, a charger box that would fit the long skinny end of the cord?

Thanks a fire wire to 30 pin dock connector. That is used to charge newer iPods with the 30 pin dock port from a FireWire port in a computer or FireWire charger.
