how shuffle photo album on macbook
I have a photo album and want to play a slideshow in random order. Is this possible?

The Photos.app does not offer the Shuffle option.
But you can use your album as a source for the screensaver and use the Screensaver to shuffle the photos. There is an option to shuffle the photos, when the screensaver is running.
Or run an Apple Script to shuffle the photos randomly in the album, before you run the slideshow.
I wrote such a script several years ago, but have not tested it on the more recent system versions. Perhaps you can adapt it to your needs:
