Question

I am unable to fix stuck keyboard in AZERTY layout

I went to Systems Settings> Keyboard> Edit Input Sources. There are three choices: US, QZ and AZ. I double click on US but the keyboard stays in azerty.

Double clicking plays no role in those settings. Instead use the minus button at the bottom of the list to remove qz and az.

Thank you for the response. Since the keyboard is in another mode, I can't be sure where the minus sign is. So I should highlight the AZ -AZERTY and then just press the minus sign? I tried as many keys as I could and none made it go away. Can you explain more?

It’s not the minus on the keyboard, it is the button on the screen, see below (next to the + pbutton outlined in red)
